Katie's bio: Katie holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and works as a therapist at GROW Counseling in Peachtree City, GA. Prior to joining GROW, Katie worked for several years in private foster care and adoption agencies, serving foster families, adoptive families, and birth parents. As an adoptive parent herself, Katie is passionate about helping adoptive parents navigate the complexity and privilege of raising adopted children in a way that honors their history, loss, and biological family. Additionally, Katie is a certified Trust Based Relational Intervention® Practitioner. TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.
